Privacy Policy

Information you give us: photos or videos you upload through "Share your game"; league, tournament, and field listings (including any contact details you choose to publish); newsletter signups; and anything you send us through our contact forms (such as your name and email).

Information collected automatically: basic technical data like browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location from your IP address, used to keep the site working and understand how it's used.

Location: if you choose "Use my location" in the league finder, your browser shares your location only for that search. We do not store it.

We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined under applicable state privacy laws including those of Connecticut and California. We do not use advertising pixels or cross-site ad tracking on this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide an opt-out before doing so. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site (such as hosting and storage), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

Retailer links take you to third-party stores, and videos on this site are embedded from YouTube. Those services may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review. YouTube videos load only when you press play and use YouTube's privacy-enhanced (no-cookie) mode; once played, YouTube's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We currently use only the storage needed for the site to function (for example, remembering that you closed a pop-up). We do not run third-party analytics or advertising tools. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security. Embedded YouTube videos may set their own cookies when played. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

The site is intended for a general audience. Children under 13 may not submit information to us, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from or about them. Uploads and listings must come from an adult, and users must affirmatively agree not to upload photos, videos, or recordings of children under 13. Every upload is reviewed before posting, and we reject or delete any that appear to show a child under 13.

Removing a photo of your child: email privacy@wiffle.com with the page or photo, and confirm you are the child's parent or guardian. We will hide the photo within 2 business days of receiving your request and remove it from the site entirely within 10 business days.

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information; obtain a portable copy of the personal information we may collect; and opt out of the sale of personal information, targeted advertising, and certain profiling. We do not sell personal information, engage in targeted advertising, or conduct such profiling, but if you would like to exercise these rights email privacy@wiffle.com. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days (subject to available extension periods). If we decline, you may appeal by replying to our response. We will not deny you services or otherwise discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

You may also ask us to remove a fan submission that shows you.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows the latest version.
